Exercise 1:

1)يسكن تمساح كبير في البحر.


A large crocodile lived in the sea.

هو يخرج من الماء وينام على الشاطئ .

It comes out of the water and sleeps on the beach.

يأكل التمساح حيوانات القرية.


Crocodile eats the village animals.

4)يحضر شرطئ من المدينة ؛ ليصطاد التمساح.


A policeman from the city comes to catch the crocodile.

يشاهد الشرطئ التمساح. هو طويل جدا.


The policeman sees the crocodile. It is very long.

الشرطي يطلق الرصاص ويقتل التمساح.


The policeman shoots and kills the crocodile.

Al-Waladu yakhthabee khalfa ash-Shajarah.

The boy is hiding behind the tree.

الفلاح يجمع التفاح

Al-fallaah yajmaú ath-thuffaah.

The farmer is collecting the apples.

Exercise 3 - Paragraph 1 :

علي بابا رجل فقير.
هو يسكن في بيت صغير.
قاسم أخو على بابا.
قاسم رجل غني، وطمّاع.
هو يسكن في قصر كبير.قاسم لا يساعد علي بابا.

Ali Baba is a poor man.
He lives in a small house.
Qasim is the brother of Ali Baba.
Qasim is a rich, and greedy man.
He lives in a large palace.
Qasim does not help Ali Baba.

Paragraph 2 :

يذهب علي بابا في الصباح إلى الغابة.
هو يجمع الحطب ويحمله إلى المدينة.
على بابا يبيع الحطب فى السوق،
ويشتري اللحم والـخبز والسكر والشاي

Ali Baba goes in the morning to the forest.
He gathers firewood and carries it to the city.
Ali Baba sells firewood in the market,
and he buys meat, bread, sugar and tea.

Paragraph 3 : 

علي بابا الآن في الغابة.
هو يجمع الحطب يسمع علي بابا صوتا عاليا.
 هناك خيل قادمة. 
يتسلق علي بابا الشجرة بسرعة ويختبئ. 

Alibaba is now in the forest.
He is collecting firewood,
Alibaba hears a loud voice.
There are horses coming.

Alibaba quickly climbs the tree and hides.

Paragraph 4 : 

يشاهد علي بابا أربعين لصًا.
هم يحملون أكياس الذهب.
يتجة اللصوص إلى صخرة كبيرة
.هم ينزلون من الخيل، ويحملون أكياس الذهب.

Ali Baba watches forty thieves.
They carry gold bags.
The thieves go to a big rock.

They get down from the horses,
carrying the gold bags.

Paragraph  : 

يصيح رئيس اللصوص: افتح يا سمسم.

باب الـمغارة مفتوح الآن.
يحمل اللصوص الأكياس ويدخلون المغارة.
يصيح رئيس اللصوص: أغلق يا سمسم .
باب الـمغارة مغلق الآن.


The leader of the thieves shouts: Open Sesame.
The cave door is open now.
The thieves carry bags and enter the cave.
The leader of the thieves shouts: Shut up, Sesame.
The cave door is now closed.

Paragraph 6 : 

علي بابا ينتظر فوق الشجرة.
اللصوص يخرجون من المغارة.
يصيح رئيس اللصوص: أغلقباب المغارة مغلق الآن.
يركب اللصوص الخيل ويبتعدون عن المكان.

Ali Baba waits over the tree.
The thieves come out of the cave.
The leader of the thieves shouts: Shut down,Sesame.
The cave door is now closed.
The thieves ride horses and move away.

Paragraph 7 : 

علي بابا ينزل من الشجرة،
ويتجة إلى الصخرة.

هو يصيح: افتح يا سمسم باب المغارة مفتوح الآن.

علي بابا يدخل المغارة ويامخذ كيسا من الذهب.

هو يصيح: أغلق يا سمسم.
باب المغارة مغلق الآن.


Ali Baba comes down from the tree,
And lead to the rock.
He shouts: Open Sesame the door of the cave is open now.
Ali Baba enters the cave and takes a bag of gold.
He shouts: Close Sesame.
The cave door is now closed.

Paragraph 8 : 

قاسم يعرف قصة الذهب.
هو يذهب إلى المغارة.
قاسم يقف أمام الصخرة ويصيح: افتح يا سمسم.
باب المغارة مفتوح الآن.
قاسم يدخل المغارة ويصيح: أغلق يا سمسم.
باب المغارة مغلق الآن.

Qasim knows the story of gold.
He goes to the Grotto.
Qasim stands in front of the rock and exclaims: Open Sesame.
The cave door is open now.
Qasim enters the cave and shouts: Close Sesame.
The cave door is now closed.

Paragraph 9 : 

قاسم الآن في المغارة.

هو يحمل كيسا كبيرا،

ويتجه إلى باب المغارة.
هو يصيح: افتح يا شعير. .

افتح يا قمح .. باب الـمغارة مغلق .

قاسم خائف جدا.

كيف يخرج من هذا المكان؟


Qasim is now in the cave.
He carries a large bag,
He goes to the cave door.
He shouts: Open O' barley....
Open O' wheat .. The cave door is closed.
Qasim is very afraid.
How to get out of this place?

Paragraph 10 : 

يصل اللصوص الآن إلى المغارة
.هم يفتحون الباب ويدخلون
 يشاهد اللصوص قاسما.
 يصيح رئيس اللصوص في قاسم:
 أنت تحضر إلى المغارة وتأخذ الذهب. 
يغضب اللصوص .

 هم يقتلون قاسما.

The thieves now reach the cave. 
They open the door and enter.
The leader of the thieves see Qasim.
The leader of the thieves shouts at Qasim:
You come to the cave and take the gold.
The thieves get angry. They kill Qasim.
