Arabic Text: أنا جوعانن

Read as: Ana Jawäan.

Meaning: I am hungry.

Arabic Text: ماذا تأكل؟

Read as: Mazaa Takulu?

Meaning: What are you eating?

Arabic Text : آكل خبزاً و بيضاً

Read as: Aakulu khubzan wa Jabanan.

Meaning: I am eating bread with cheese.

(Fill in the blank with sentence
similar to the above example)

Question 1:

Arabic Text: أنا جوعان

Read as: Ana Jawäan.

Meaning: I am hungry.

Answer to question 1:

Arabic Text:ماذا تأكل؟

Read as: Mazaa Takulu?

Meaning: What are you eating?

Answer to question 1 continued:

Arabic Text:آكل فطيرة و زيتوناً.

Read as: Aakulu fatheerah wa zaithoon.

Meaning: I am eating pizza and olives.

Example 2:

Arabic Text : أنا عطشان

Read as: Ana Athshaan.

Meaning: I am thirsty.


Arabic Text : ماذا تشرب؟

Read as: Mazaa Tashrabu?

Meaning: What are you drinking?


Arabic Text : أشرب ليمونًا بارداً

Read as: Ashrabu leimoonan baaridan.

Meaning: I am drinking cold lemon (juice).


Answer to question 2:

Arabic Text: .أنا عطشان

Read as: Ana Athshaan.

Meaning: I am thirsty.


Arabic Text : ماذا تشرب؟

Read as: Mazaa Tashrabu?

Meaning: What are you drinking?


Arabic Text : أشرب لبنا حارّاً

Read as: Ashrabu Labanan harran

Meaning: I am drinking hot milk.

البنت تأكل الفطيرة.

Read as: Al Binth Takulu al-fateerah.

Meaning:The girl is eating a pizza.

أنا أريد شاياً حارًّا.

Read as: Ana Oredu Shayan Harran.

Meaning:I want hot tea.





Picture 6:

أنا أريد لبنًا بارداً.





Read as: Ana Oreedu Labanan Baaridan.

Meaning:I want cold Milk.

جبن

Read as: Jabnun

Meaning: Cheese





Picture 8:

زيتون


Read as: Zaitoon





Meaning: Olives

Listen and differentiate between
the alphabets ( ء ) and ( ع ).

1)  التلاميذ في الفصل


Read as: At-talaameezu Fil Fasl.


Meaning: The students are in the class.








2) تدخل المعلِّمة


Read as: Tadkhulu al-Muallimathu.


Meaning: The teacher (feminine) is entering.








3) هي تحمل حقيبة.


Read as: Hiya Tahmilu haqeebah.


Meaning: She is carrying a bag.








4) تقف المعلمة أمام السَّبُّرة

Read as: Taqifu al-Muallimathu amaama as-sabboorah.


Meaning: The teacher (feminine) is standing in front of the blackboard.







5) يجلس التَّلاميذ خلف الطّاولة


Read as: Yajlisu at-talaamizu khalfa at-taavilah.


Meaning: The students are sitting behind the table.







6) تفتح المعلِّمة الحقيبة


Read as: Taftahu al-Muallimathu al-haqeebah.


Meaning: The teacher (feminine) is opening the bag.





7) هِي تقرأ الكتاب

Read as: Hiya taqrau al-kitaab.
